In June 2012 we commissioned Apex to design and develop our Wheelaway Holidays website. Apex took time to understand our exact requirements. Our website was launched to travel agents worldwide and they found this to be a very user friendly portal for their client bookings, so much so that the scope broadened and bespoke functionality was added to the website. Apex Internet have helped us to drive more targeted traffic to our website. Apex Internet designed and developed our website using Responsive Website techniques – which was very important to us as a large percentage of visitors to our site use mobile devices. The Apex team provide excellent service standing by their product, which I really rate. As clients of Apex Internet already, with our Gladiator Marine website, we were keen to improve the look and feel of our Fishingpro site whilst retaining the functionality of the old site. Apex provided us with a nice clean design and carried out some custom programming to improve the search functionality and the forms on the website. A blog module was also integrated into the website to make it easy for us manage our news items. We are rapt with the final product – an easily usable site for our website visitors and a great showcase for the many charter boat operators that feature.
Our expectations have been exceeded in the development and optimisation of our hotel microsites for Crowne Plaza Auckland (www.crowneplazaauckland.co.nz) and Crowne Plaza Queenstown (www.crowneplazaqueenstown.co.nz). We have been provided with sound strategy which has allowed us to achieve some great results. All questions and queries are promptly dealt with by the support team and we have been able to add some great new features to our websites including responsive website design and a newly improved blog module. The level of product innovation has been fantastic allowing us to provide a great product for our audience.
The Apex operation of our website and hosting of our email were ticking along quite nicely. We decided to rebrand. The knowledgeable Apex team walked us through their detailed proposal to absorb our refreshed content and change the site’s look and feel. Another company offered similar services and pricing and spear-headed the rebranding; we chose the other provider based on a relationship with them.
We were and are very happy with the rebranding, updated content and design that the second company created. A few little things went wrong. Apex graciously agreed to sort these problems and take us back. The transition back to Apex was smooth but this was a costly lesson for us. Sometimes you have to leave home to appreciate what you’ve got. We appreciate Apex. It’s good to be home.
We recently had our website redesigned by Apex Internet and were very impressed by how enjoyable the process was and how smoothly it all went. Everybody seemed to understand our needs and requirements right from the start which made the whole experience very easy for us - well done to everybody involved. After the fantastic results gained by having the Apex team restructure our Adwords campaign, we had the confidence to engage them to redesign our website. As an online business, this was understandably a key project for us. Once again they knocked the ball out of the park!

We are so pleased with the new website which includes all of our existing website functions and content but now brings us into the 21st Century with regard to modern search engine optimisation (SEO) practices and social media platforms. We started our association with Apex when we moved our company website onto Apex’s custom built CMS, Orbit. I found their CMS to be very user friendly, so when it was time to build a new website for our retail outlet, Plyman, we were keen to use Apex.
After discussing what our vision was for the new Plyman website, Apex and their team came up with a modern design that was exactly what we had in mind, and at a very reasonable cost. I was to load all the information onto the site and as a non-website minded person was helped incredibly by Suzanne, Aaron and David.
