The look and feel of Google is changing. Just last week we began to see new design elements across a few of the various Google Products such as Google Maps and the Search Results Pages. Why the change you may ask? It is all part of the search giant wanting to make it as easy as possible for users to find what they are looking for, quickly and efficiently. Google is continuously aiming to improve the overall user experience.
As stated on the Official Google Blog:
The new Google experience that we’ve begun working toward is founded on three key design principles: focus, elasticity and effortlessness.
Included with the release of the new design, which we can’t see, but benefit from are: new technologies like HTML5, WebGL and the latest, fastest browsers. Google are also working to ensure that our visual experience when using their products is consistent no matter what technical device we may be using to access Google Products with.
Let’s look at some of the changes that we have seen so far (note: design improvements will continue being rolled out to the various Google Products over the coming months).

As more design changes to the look and feel of Google Products are released, we will keep you posted. In the mean time, be sure to check out these latest design improvements the next time you search on Google.
