David founded Apex back in 1997 after returning from 5 years in various IT roles in the UK. He has a Bachelors Degree from Auckland University and a post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management. As Managing Director David's role is incredibly varied and covers everything from Server Administration to Accounts.
Outside of Apex David spends much of his time working on his lifestyle block and is kept busy with continual house renovations and spending quality time with his wife and two young children.

Strategy & Marketing Director
Karyn as co-founder is primarily responsible for the marketing and strategic direction of the company. Karyn has qualifications in Business Management from the New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM). With over 13 years experience in the Search Engine Marketing field, Karyn has a wealth of knowledge in the industry and is heavily involved in product/service development for both the SEM and Website Development sides of the company.
Outside of work Karyn's main interests centre on her two daughters activities and both she and her husband are involved on various school and sporting committees. As often as possible, she does like to take advantage of the wonderful Taranaki weather with extended walks along the coastal walkway.

Keri is tasked with managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable along with Payroll and generally making sure that the Apex wheels run smoothly.
Keri is married to our Managing Director, David, and together they have two young children that keep her run off her feet with the variety of extra-curricular activities they are involved in.
Social Media Marketing Specialist
Sonya has been working at Apex since 2006 and brings a strong business administration background to her role. Sonya has worked for various companies across many industries from real estate to investment banking and currently runs her own social media marketing consultancy; Cue Social Media. At Apex, Sonya has previously worked as a website marketer and is currently responsible for managing our clients social media campaigns. Sonya lives and breathes social media and works to educate, facilitate and incorporate social media into the online marketing solutions that we develop for our clients.
Outside of Apex, Sonya is the wearer of many hats balancing her time between running her own business and meeting the needs of her busy young son.
Business Development Manager
Suzanne is our Business Development Manager and commenced with Apex in 2009, based in our Christchurch office. Suzanne holds a Degree in Psychology as well as qualifications in Personnel Management and Marketing. Suzanne is from Gloucestershire in the UK and has made New Zealand her home since 2003. Having previously worked for various multinational companies, Suzanne brings a wealth of web-related knowledge and experience ranging from user-centred design through to programming and optimisation. Suzanne works closely with our clients to understand their unique business requirements and identify smart web solutions that satisfy their needs and present their business in the best possible light online.
At the weekends, if you don't find her with her nose in a book somewhere she will be in Kaikoura acting as, her partner Mark's, photographer's assistant.

Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager based in our New Plymouth office, Leanne works closely with our clients to help them achieve the best possible business success online.
Leanne is passionate about helping people in business - helping businesses to be more successful. Her degree in Psychology led her to customer service, project management and consulting roles with multinational technology companies. This is an ideal basis for her Business Development role with Apex.

Beyond work, Leanne loves spending time with her family - husband, son and daughter. The family enjoys time together at the beach and keeping active on new Plymouth's Coastal Walkway. Leanne loves living in New Plymouth, and all the natural attractions that the Taranaki region offers.

Senior Manager - Search Marketing
Mark started work at Apex in 2009 after moving north from his home town of Wellington. This move followed a four year stint in the UK where his work life focused largely on online marketing, including Search Engine Optimisation and managing profitable AdWords campaigns for a range of UK businesses. Prior to living in the UK Mark had also worked in a number of marketing roles in both the corporate and SME environment here in NZ. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University (majoring in Marketing and Commercial Law) and a Diploma of Web Development. Mark is a Google AdWords Qualified Individual and an experienced Google Analytics practitioner and is responsible for the day to day management and direction of the Search Marketing team at Apex Internet.
Away from work Mark can often be found exploring the Taranaki coastline, searching for waves and enjoying the beaches with his wife Mel and their two young boys.

Jess joined Apex in 2005 after graduating from Massey University with a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Marketing. As an Account Manager at Apex, Jess is responsible for the management of a large number of Search Engine Marketing campaigns. Jess is a Google Adwords Qualified Individual managing numerous campaigns for our clients across a broad range of industries and a Google Analytics practitioner - skilfully interpreting and analysing web analytics for all clients in her portfolio.
Outside of work, Jess has keen interests in photography and travel and is regularly on the Netball court or taking long walks along the coastal walkway.

Nigel commenced with Apex in 2004 shortly after graduating from WITT with a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems. Nigel specialises in web application development and has been instrumental in the development of Orbit our Content Management System. As ITC Manager, Nigel has overall responsibility for our internal systems and management of our Web Development team. As well as being our 'go-to-guy' for all things technical, Nigel is skilled in project scoping and needs analysis and has proven skills in taking fluid ideas and concepts and converting them into practical real world business applications.
In his spare time Nigel can be found helping out at the local youth group, snowboarding on Mt Ruapehu or mastering the latest Xbox games.

Project Manager / Web Developer
Shay joined Apex Internet Ltd in 2009 as a recent graduate with a Diploma of Web Development from Natcoll in Wellington. Originally employed as a junior developer, Shay has shown a natural affinity for understanding the Web and more importantly conveying our clients real world business requirements into functional web based business applications. Along with working on quoting new project work, Shay now manages the scheduling of development work, Project manages this work through all facets of the development phase and still likes to get involved with actual coding when time allows.
Outside of work, Shay plays in Basketball and Indoor & Outdoor Netball teams. Shay also enjoys spending time with friends and attempting house renovations.

Originally from Taranaki - Aidan joined the Apex team in 2011 after moving back from Christchurch. Aidan is assigned to one of our largest strategic partner accounts, and as a Google Adwords Qualified Individual, Google Analytics practitioner and SEM specialist, is responsible for the key components of their client's SEM campaigns. Aidan has an intense passion for SEO and has worked in Search Engine Marketing industry for 5+ years, achieving great results for a range of clients from corporates to small businesses. Aidan has also previously run his own online marketing company.

Tessa joined our Search Marketing team in 2012 having graduated with a Bachelor of Management studies majoring in Marketing in May 2011 from the University of Waikato. Originally from Gisborne, Aaron moved to New Plymouth in 2004 after graduating from Otago University with a degree in Information Science.
